BANDIPORA, JULY 06: As many as 477 cases of construction
workers have been sanctioned by the Labour Department under Marriage Assistance
Scheme in Bandipora District.
According to Assistant Labor Commissioner, the invoice amounting to Rs. 12930000 in favor of
the sanctioned cases has been submitted to JK Bank for making payment directly
in their bank accounts.
It was said
that 188 cases were rejected due to certain documental deficiencies, adverse
verification, and incomplete details etc.
It was given out that the list of the sanctioned as well as rejected
cases stands displayed on official notice board of ALC Bandipora for
eliciting any public response.
The Assistant Labor Commissioner said that any complaints regarding
sanctioned or rejected list can be lodged before
Chief Executive Officer J&K Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare
Board Srinagar within next seven days.
