Agartala,
Sep 14: BJP national general secretary Ram Madhav today reiterated that
the party has been working systematically to unseat left front government in
upcoming assembly elections to Tripura assembly schedule in February next year.

activities ahead of crucial assembly election, Ram Madhav said CPI(M) has
resorted terror-tactics on opposition supporters apprehending the confirmed
defeat in the election that deteriorating law and order situation of the state.
“The way CPI(M) party leaders involved in college council election and indulged
violence across the state against ABVP supporters, made us believe that the
party has lost respect to democracy and people of Tripura. They cannot accept
the existence of opposition, which is most important in Indian system,” he told
media. Ram Madhav warned CPI(M) that BJP would not allow violent politics for
power and to establish rule of law in the state, they would request Central
government to ensure peaceful situation in the state and restore democratic
ambience in Tripura. “There may be instigation of creating unrest before the
elections but the party leaders, supporters and people must show tolerance to
maintain peace in the run up the elections”, he told the media after reviewing
the situation at Nalchar of Sonamura where at least eight persons including six
BJP men and a police officer were injured in alleged attack of CP(-M) party

instigating the situation for narrow politics and said Chief Minister Manik
Sarkar has made police helpless and cadres have been running the
administration. There is no command of administration over the situation – the
CPI(M) is doing whatever they like. “There will be no match fixing like game in
the name of elections. This time the elections will be a battle for change in
true sense. And, the people are determined to oust the Marxist government for
its misrule and BJP will mere be an instrument,” he observed. He however,

and now the party wants to win three more states- Tripura, Meghalaya and
