Delhi, Sept 9 : Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh today left on a four-day
visit to Jammu and Kashmir to review the security situation in the Valley.
During his visit to the state, the Home Minister will meet Governor NN Vohra,
Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, as well as a cross-section of people including
in an attempt to find a resolution to the Kashmir problem. 'Leaving New Delhi
for Srinagar on a 4 day visit to Jammu and Kashmir. Shall interact with
delegations from different sections of the society. I am going there with an
open mind and I am willing to meet anyone who will help us in finding solutions
to problems facing J&K,' Mr Singh said in a series of tweets. Mr Singh, who
is accompanied by Home Secretary Rajiv Gauba and other senior officers of the
Ministry will meet the Chief Minister to review the law and order situation in
the state. The Home Minister will review the progress of implementation of the
Prime Minister's development package for the state. During his visit, Mr Singh
will meet various delegations at Srinagar and Jammu. He will also interact with
J and K Police jawans, CRPF and BSF jawans in the state. UNI
