KARGIL, OCTOBER 23- Minister
for Cooperatives and Ladakh Affairs, Tsering Dorjay, today said that the
government is fully conscious of the problems and issues of people living in
far flung corners of the State, and all out efforts are being made to ensure
satisfactory and uninterrupted delivery of services at their doorsteps.
The Minister
stated this while interacting with a series of public gatherings at Zanskar.
Dorjay, who is on a 6-day extensive tour of Zanskar sub-division today
met public delegations at village Abran, Akshow, Skyagam, Manda, Phey,
Ranthaksha, Tungri, Karsha Youlsum and adjoining villages.
The local people apprised the Minister about their issues and demands
pertaining to the provision of adequate quantity of ration in view of the onset
of winter season, electricity, drinking water, medical facilities etc. The
Minister assured people that all their genuine demands would be solved on
priority.
Meanwhile, the offices of sub-division headed by in charge SDM Tanveer
Ahmad and the members of the Buddhist community gave their Minister a warm
welcome at village Khushul.
