Kangra, Nov 3: BJP's chief ministerial face for November 9 polls P K Dhumal is proposing a special present for Prime Minister Narendra Modi with a 'historic gift' with win of at least 60 seats in the 68-member assembly.
Countering his claims, Congress veteran and Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh said ...'If BJP wins 60 seats, I will quit Himachal permanently,' Mr Singh said.
BJP leader and two-time chief minister told UNI, ' .. hum jeet jo jaengey 60 seats....par woh state nahi chodenge (We will win 60 seats but he will not leave Himachal)'.
Having made the remarks, he said, 'As senior most politician Mr Singh should not leave the state, we all can benefit from his wisdom and experience in whatever form one wants to say'.
Mr Dhumal also assured that once in power, the BJP government will not be ' vindictive' to Mr Virbhadra Singh .. who is facing corruption cases and is still on bail.
'There will be no revenge...our government will solely focus on development and to reestablish people's faith in the rule of law,' he said.
The former chief minister said the law and order situation has deteriorated and -- 'therefore priority of my government will be to make out state the Dev Bhoomi once again and save it from becoming a Mafia bhoomi or Drug bhoomi'. 
BJP's chief ministerial nominee also said he has plans ready to attract imvestments and put Himachal into a fast track for development. UNI
