New Delhi, Nov 8: In a major twist in the Pradyuman Thakur murder case, the Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested a 16-year-old student of the Ryan International School.
According to the CBI, the 11 standard student was arrested from his Gurugaram residence at around 2330 hours Tuesday night in connection with brutal murder of seven-year-old Pradyuman Thakur at Ryan International school recently. The Agency said that the accused would be produced before a court in Gurugram where it will file a plea for his custody.
The CBI said that in the entire process of the interrogation, the accused parents were informed throughout. The murder weapon was also recovered, the Agency said. On September 22, the Agency had registered a case in the killing of seven-year old student.  Pradyuman Thakur, a 2nd standard student of Ryan International School Bhondsi, who was found lying in a pool of blood on the morning of September 8 with his throat slit in one of the school's toilets. The body bore cut marks at various places while a knife was recovered from the spot which is said to be the weapon in the crime. Earlier, the police had arrested Ashok Kumar, a bus conductor who was working in the school for the past eight months. UNI
