Ahmedabad, Dec 11: In an effort to attract more voters in their fold, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress-designate President Rahul Gandhi will hold three and four rallies, respectively in poll-bound Gujarat.
Polling for the second phase is scheduled to take place on December 14.
Mr Modi will hold rallies in Patan, Nadiad and Ahmedabad, while Mr Gandhi will address four rallies in Tharad, Viramgam, Savli and Gandhinagar on the same day. 
BJP President Amit Shah will also address a public gathering in Dabhoi of Vadodara. 
The first phase of elections on Saturday recorded a 66.75 per cent turnout.
The final result will be declared on December 18. 
Meanwhile, Gujarat police have denied permission to BJP and Congress, for holding roadshows of Mr Modi and Mr Gandhi, respectively. 
Taking to socio-microblogging site Twitter, Ahmedabad Police Commissioner Anup Kumar Singh posted, 'Request by BJP & Congress for conducting PM Modi & Rahul Gandhi's road show tomorrow, turned down by Police due to security, law & order reasons & to avoid public inconvenience.Mr Modi and Mr Gandhi were scheduled to hold a roadshow in Ahmedabad on December 12, two days before the second phase of polling in Gujarat. UNI
