New Delhi, Jan 8: A standoff between Indian and Chinese soldiers and road making contingents in Tuting subdivision area of Arunachal Pradesh has been resolved, said Army Chief General Bipin Rawat on Monday.
Both the Armies reached on conclusion after a Border Personal Meeting was held two days back. 
Talking to reporters here on the sidelines of the Annual Army Tech Seminar, Gen Rawat said, “The Tuting incident has been sorted out and we have had our Border Personnel Meeting after that.” 
On being asked about the situation along the India-China border in Sikkim sector, where the two countries were involved in a 73-day-long standoff in Doklam, he said there was a major reduction in the number of troops on the Chinese side.
Near the Bishing village of Arunachal, the Chinese were pushed back by troops of the Indo Tibetan Border Police and the army after an exchange of words.
They had entered into Indian boundary to alignment of the road in Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh. UNI
