New Delhi, Jan 12: In a damage control exercise, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad to discuss the outcome of the unprecedented press conference by four Supreme Court judges in the capital on Friday.
Mr Modi and the Union Law minister discussed the points raised at the press conference addressed mainly by Justice J Chelameswar, who is a member of the larger collegium comprising the Chief Justice of India and the next three senior judges. 
Also present at the meeting to discuss the unexpected turn of events was the law officer, sources here said. 
Hinting at a divide in the apex court, the judges maintained the Supreme Court was "not in order" and senior judges were allegedly not being properly allocated matters.
Apart from Mr Chelameswar, the other sitting judges present were Justice Ranjan Gogoi, Justice Madan B Lokur and Justice Kurien Joseph. UNI
