Rampur, Feb 10: Firebrand Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan and his legislator son, Abdullah, are said to have received death threats, a police official told here on Saturday.

Suar MLA Abdullah Azam Khan filed a complaint on Friday evening that he had received a call from an international number threatening to kill him and his father Azam Khan within 24 hours.
Vidya Singh Diwakar, Ganj police station in charge, told investigations were underway.
Mr Khan also sought enhanced security following the early Friday morning call.
A case has been filed and a probe was in progress.
Superintendent of police Vipin Tada said, 'Additional security has been provided to both the leaders and our cyber cell is trying to trace the calls.' UNI
