New Delhi, Feb 22: The National Investigation
Agency arrested an active cadre of Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP) (N)
on February 20 this year in connection with the ambush on an army convoy in
2015 in Manipur, an official said here on Thursday.
Accused Meitei was produced before the NIA Court, Imphal on
same day and has been sent to NIA remand for seven days.
The said accused was part of the team which was involved in the ambush near Paraolen village in Chandel District of Manipur on June 4, 2015 in which 18 Army personnel were killed and 15 were grievously injured. UNI
