Commissioner Secretary inspects various PWD and PMGSY roads in Udhampur district

UDHAMPUR,APRIL-09:- Commissioner Secretary, Public Works Department, Sanjeev  Verma accompanied by District Development Commissioner, Ravinder Kumar  today inspected various ongoing developmental works  under PWD R&B  and PMGSY roads along with  four lanning of  Udhampur Chenani  National Highway.

While reviewing  various roads under taken by PWD & PMGSY in the district ,  he called upon the executive engineers to maintain quality in executing developmental works and to speed up the work by  removing bottle necks  that cause delay and cost escalation of the project.

He also emphasized upon the officers to make optimum utilization of funds and ensure transparency.

Later, Commissioner Secretary, inspected   Balli Nallah to High School road, Sewna to Asian road, Champari to Gantwal road, Chenani Pattan Garh road and  Chenani  Sudhmahadev  proposed road.

While inspecting PMGSY road from Chenani to Tandar Pakhlai , Commissioner Secretary  expressed concern over poor condition of road and directed the  concerned technical team to take urgent action.

The Commissioner Secretary also inspected Pattan Garh Bridge, Madha Nallah Bridge, construction of 108 Mtr Bridge over Udhampur Ramnagar road and  directed the engineers to complete the construction work at an earliest while keeping safety parameters so that the commuters as well as general public can benefit from it.
