Manyal inspects functioning of schools in Samba

Hands over regularization order to ReT teachers

SAMBA MAY 25: Minister for Health and Family Education Dr Devinder Manyal today inspected functioning, position of staff and infrastructure in government schools of this border district.

He also handed over regularization orders to several Rehbar-e-Talem teachers who were regularized after successful completion of qualifying period.

 During his visit to various government schools in the district, the Minister interacted with school heads, teachers and students and enquired about the   infrastructure and other facilities available.

 The Minister directed for taking immediate measures for making available safe drinking water and lighting in the schools lacking the same.   He also issued on spot directions for necessary repair of building and creation of adequate infrastructure required for academic activities. He directed Zonal Education officer to undertake extensive and regular inspections of the schools and in its report to the higher ups suggest steps for improvement where ever required.

He asked the education department authorities to review the inspection reports on quarterly basis and take quick action on the issues pertaining to school infrastructure, teachers, performance etc.
