Kishtwar, Mar 25 :  To combat any unprecedented emergency that may arise due to spread of corona virus infection, District Magistrate Kishtwar, Rajinder Singh Tara today inspected various hotels of the district and reviewed the progress on converting them into additional quarantine facilities.

The DM inspected various hotels including Sen residency, saphhire valley, K17, snow valley, hotel char chinar, hotel Chowgan, near prade ground ,Dar hotel ,hotel grand palace near district hospital Kishtwar among others. During inspection the DM took stock of basic facilities available there and directed the concerned hoteliers to keep the hotels ready in all aspects to quarantine any person as per SOP. He also directed the owner/managers to ensure that all the necessary facilities like, sanitization, lightening, bathing, cleaning etc to be made available to the persons who will kept in these quarantine facilities.

Pertinent to mention that all hotels of the district stand closed by an earlier order issued by DM.

Meanwhile, the DM also paid visit at Al Hilal institute of education at Hudri guriyan Kishtwar and Islamia Faridia Higher Secondary School Kichloo mohalla and accessed the capacity for developing additional quarantine facilities there.

He was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Pawan Parihar, CEO Kishtwar Development Authority Anil Kumar, Accounts officer KDA, Dalip Singh Rathore and other concerned officials.
