MEXICO
CITY Sept 8: The Mexican government on Thursday said it had declared
the North Korean ambassador to Mexico, Kim Hyong Gil, persona non grata in
protest at the Asian nation's recent nuclear activity. In a statement, the
government said it had given the ambassador 72 hours to leave Mexico in a step
meant to express its "absolute rejection" of North Korea's actions,
describing the actions as a grave threat to the region and the world. REUTERS
