Lucknow, Feb 13: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati has lambasted RSS chief Mohan
Bhagwat for comparing RSS activists with the army jawans fighting on the Indian
borders.
" Such statement by RSS chief demoralise the Indian army
who are facing big challenge against the terrorists on the Indo- Pak borders
nowadays. Bhagwat should seek an apology from the country for his
statement," she said in a statement here on Tuesday.
Ms Mayawati said, when Mr Bhagwat is so confident about his militant cadre that they are similar to the army jawans then why he is taking security of the commandos. " He should leave the security of the commandos and deploy his cadres for his own security," she said.
The BSP chief also alleged that when RSS, which once was a voluntary organisation and served the nation, had turned into a political outfit, then how can its cadres be treated at par with the soldiers. UNI
