RAMBAN, JUNE 02: Department of Fisheries Ramban has stocked seven thousand (7000) Rainbow Trout seed procured from trout Fish Farming Project Bheja Bhaderwah in Bhimdasa stream of Gool with an aim to develop the natural stock of trout and also for angling.
This was informed by Assistant Director Fishery Ramban Fayaz Ahmed Fayaz.
He said that two units for promoting Rainbow trout farming have been established by the department at Karoal Ramban and Chunna Gool adding that trout fishery has been fully established and is being recognised as a sustainable source of animal protein and employment generation.
