SHOPIAN, AUGUST 19: District Administration Shopian today started free coaching and mentoring program for the aspirants of civil services examination 2018 with the inauguration of daylong workshop titled “How to Crack Civil Services Examination,” at Auditorium Hall Government Degree College Boys Shopian.
The speakers at the event outlined the broader contours of general studies and methodology for preparation of civil services. They advised the students that the level of examination demands perseverance, determination, smart work, and diligence. Later, the empanelled officers delivered classes on different components of general studies.
The officials said that the main reason behind this initiative is to give exposure to the candidates in the field of civil services as there are no good coaching facilities available in the district. In the program the candidates will be given coaching Classes for General studies and subjects like Indian History, Indian Economy, Indian Polity and Indian and World Geography will be covered. The course will also include comprehensive test series to evaluate the candidate’s ability to understand the fundamental concepts of the subject.
The inaugural function was attended by Principal GDC Shopian, Faculty Members, and a galaxy of gathering of civil services aspirants.
