Sadanand Gupta made working president of UP Hindi Sansthan

Lucknow, Sept 13: Renowned Hindi litterateur Sadanand Gupta has been made the working president of the Uttar Pradesh Hindi Sansthan. The post was vacant since the Yogi Adityanath government came to power in March 2017 after resignation of Uday Pratap Singh. According to officials here today, Prof Gupta had served as head of the Hindi department in the Gorakhpur university. He was also the state president of the ABVP and manager of the Saraswati Sishu Mandir Higher Secondary School. He has been honoured with Birla, Vyas, Saraswati awards. He is associated with several RSS magazines. A native of Jharkhand, Prof Gupta has been residing in Gorakhpur since his retirement from Gorakhpur university in 2013. UNI
