Asks people to extend cooperation for effective implementation of development projects


REASI, NOVEMBER 20: Minister of State for Finance and Planning Ajay Nanda today convened a public grievances redressal camp at Ransoo besides meeting with several public deputations.
Scores of people from the hilly and far off areas of Pouni, Ransoo, Bharakh and adjoining villages attended the camp and raised various issues related to welfare and development of their respective areas seeking an early redressal to the same.
The people expressed gratitude to the Minister for construction of PMGSY roads in Pouni Tehsil, blacktopping of Ransoo-Kanda road, bus stand, upgradation and widening of Ransoo bazaar road, bore well hand pump and other development works for the entire town.
Meanwhile, several deputations called on the Minister and apprised him of their issues like adequate supply of drinking water, improvement in power distribution system, tourism development, road construction, upgradation of health facilities, development of sports facilities, posting of adequate staff in local hospital of Ransoo, filling up of vacant posts in schools, availability of veterinary doctors, development of horticulture, protection works under MGNREGA, time bound supply of seeds by the agriculture department etc. 

Speaking on the occasion, Ajay Nanda assured the people that government will leave no stone unturned to fulfill the needs and aspirations of the people. He said all major and minor works have been prioritized and focused attention is being given on timely and quality completion.
