New Delhi, Jan 13: It was a cold morning in the National Capital on Lohri although the minimum
temperature was 6 degrees Celsius, 2 notches down from Friday's 8 degrees C.
Fog caused disruptions in train and flight schedules, Around
44 trains were delayed, while 15 were rescheduled and 13 got cancelled, due to
fog and other reasons.
According to India Meteorological Department, the maximum is likely to settle at 24 degrees C, approximately the same as Friday.
Relative humidity was pegged at 80 per cent at 0830 hrs, the weatherman said.
According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the air quality was 'very poor' in past 24 hours with Index value at 357 at 1300 hrs same as the previous day. PM2.5 and PM19 were the primary pollutants.
The Met department said the day will remain clear and cold. UNI
