Kolkata, Feb 10: The West Bengal Government is planning to set up its first crematorium for pets
near Armenian Ghat in Kolkata.
The Animal Resources Development Department is going to set
it up at an approximate cost of Rs 25 lakh.
Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) will extend technical support to complete the project.
A small electrical furnace will be set up initially where dogs, cats and other small animals will be cremated.
