Pratapgarh, Mar 23: Ten people died and six others were injured when a truck rammed into a
taxi in the Subhantha area here on Friday.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Gaya Dutt Mishra here said a
speeding truck rammed into a taxi at Jagatpur turn near Subantha area in which
10 people died and six severely injured. The truck driver was nabbed and
vehicle was seized.
The injured were rushed to the district hospital, Mr Mishra said, adding that identity of the deceased was yet to be known. Victims were resident of Jaunpur and were going to Chauharjan Devi temple. UNI
