REASI, JULY 06: Deputy Commissioner, Prasanna Ramaswamy G today convened a meeting with regard
to the Mega Plantation Drive in the District.
During the
meeting, the DC said that in the first instance, twenty thousand good quality
saplings of different species shall be planted in the different locations of
Division Reasi and Mahore. The Divisional Forest Officers Reasi and Mahore
shall play a technical role for quality plantation and provide all the saplings
in this Mega Drive.
During the
meeting, directions were issued to the concerned to indentify the locations
where these saplings are to be planted within three days positively.
The DC stressed
on better coordination and synergy among District Administration, Army, Police,
Forest& CRPF and other stakeholders local people, NGOs and students to make
this drive a grand success.
On the occasion, SSP Tahir Sajad Bhat, Brigadier J.S
Shikhawat , DFOs Reasi and Mahore, ACD, ACR, Commandant CRPF and
polices officers were present in the meeting.
