RTA Kishtwar approves 158 LA cases

KISHTWAR, JULY 17: Regional Transport Authority today approved 158 ‘letter of authority’ (LA) cases here at a meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Angrez Singh Rana. The meeting was attended by  DySP(Hqr) Nihar Ranjan, ARTO Abhay Indu Sharma (Member Secretary RTA) and DTI Kishtwar.

After detailed deliberations,   the panel approved all 158 applications keeping in view the need of providing more transport facilities to the masses.

 Earlier, the member secretary (ARTO) presented the cases before the committee seeking issuance of LA in favour of the applicants.

 Deputy Commissioner advised ARTO and traffic authorities to remain pro-active in resolving the traffic related issues. He asked the twin departments to keep close vigil on traffic rule violators.
