SRINAGAR, JULY 16: Secretary
Information, Sarmad Hafeez has condoled the demise of Ghulam Hassan Wani,
father of senior journalist Khursheed Ahmad Wani.
Mr Hafeez has also condoled the demise of Hans Raj Sharma, father of
senior video-journalist Amit Bhardawaj of Times Now and SumitBhardawaj of
Dainik Jagran.
The Secretary Information has also condoled the demise of Feroz Ahmad,
brother of senior journalist Altaf Hussain, who passed away here recently.
He also condoled the demise of Shobhawati Bachloo w/o Late M N Bachloo,
the grandmother of Ajay Bachloo of ABP News who passed away in Jammu last week.
Mr Hafeez while expressing solidarity with the bereaved families has
prayed for peace to the departed souls.
Meanwhile, the officers and officials of the Department of Information
and Public Relations have also condoled the demise and expressed solidarity
with the bereaved families.
