27: The bottlenecks in the upcoming 84 MW Power House at Shutkari Kullan Sonamarg were threadbare discussed in the
meeting chaired by Minister of
State for Hajj & Auqaf and Power, Farooq Ahmad
Andrabi, here today.
Several
issues related to the project were discussed in detail. It was informed that
forest clearance for the project stands already attained. The power evacuation
plan was also discussed and it was decided that the PDC will bear the cost on
this account. It was also agreed to revisit the hydro policy of the State to
invite new partners for developing of hydro potential of the State.Senior
officers of the PDC were present in the meeting.
