Arrangements for Ramzan discussed

UDHAMPUR, MAY 19:  Additional Deputy Commissioner, Avny Lavasa today convened a meeting to discuss the arrangements for the holy month of Ramzan.

 During the meeting, the ADC directed the PHE department to ensure adequate supply of water at mosques during the month long Ramzan.

Executive Engineer, PDD was asked to provide uninterrupted power supply especially in the morning and evening hours. 

A committee comprising AD FCS &CA, CEO MC, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Food Safety Officer and Tehsildar was constituted to keep a check on the quality and prices of the eatables.  Besides, AD FCS & CA was asked to ensure adequate supply of ration especially sugar.

In addition to this, SDMs of various sub divisions of the district were directed to ensure adequate arrangements are  put in place before the commencement of Ramzan.

CMO Udhampur, Dr. K.C  Dogra, Ex-En PDD Rachhpal Chand, AD FCS&CA Haroon Naik, SDMs, Tehsildars besides prominent citizens attended the meeting.
