SRINAGAR, MAY 18: Divisional
Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan, today convened a meeting to review the
functioning of educational institutions of the Valley.
Deputy
Commissioner Srinagar, Director School Education, Additional Secretary Higher
Education, Deputy Director Planning and Heads of Educational Institutions were
present in the meeting.
On the
occasion, the Div Com stressed on the augmentation of the facilities in the
educational institutions for the students so that congenial academic atmosphere
is created. Heads of various educational institutions were asked to ensure that
the academic sessions are carried forward smoothly.
Khan also directed the Director School Education to constitute squads
for inspection of Schools to check the attendance of Staff and review the
facilities being provided to the Students.
DSEK was also directed to ensure Parent-Teacher meetings are conducted
in all schools.
