HANDWARA, MAY 13: District Development
Commissioner Kupwara today inaugurated the Milk Production Farm to preserve the
additional milk on modern scientific methods through bulk milk cooler system in
order to avoid any mediation. The capacity of the plant is 5000 litres to 7500
litres in first phase.
The
function was organized by JKPC at Handwara in collaboration with Animal Husbandry
department.
The
DDC impressed upon the concerned agencies to provide all necessary facilities
to the households who want to sell their bulk milk through the plant. He also
exhorted upon them to involve the educated unemployed youth with the plant
which will also help in eradicating unemployment in the area.
The
officers of district and Tehsil administration Handwara, experts and field
functionaries were present on the occasion.
