DODA, MAY 10 - District Development Commissioner, Bhupinder Kumar, today visited Prem Nagar, Kandote, Charaya and adjoining panchayats of the district and took stock of development works being executed by various departments in these areas.
DDC reviewed progress of several ongoing developmental works being executed by RDD, PHE, R&B and line departments.
Meanwhile, several deputations these panchayats called on the DC and apprised him of their problems and demands which inter alia include construction of PHC at Premnagar, electricity, drinking water, good connectivity, installation of transformers, healthcare related and other important issues.
DDC assured the people of an early redressal of their issues and demands. He gave on spot directions to the concerned officers regarding improvement of road connectivity to the area besides asking BDO Thathri to submit the estimate for construction of PHC Premnagar.
Xen R&B B.B Thusoo, BDO Thathri Tariq Hussian Qazi, representatives of various departments, Ex-sarpanches, prominent citizens of the area accompanied the deputy commissioner during his visit.
