SRINAGAR, MAY 10: Director
Handicrafts Zeenat Ara called a meeting to review the functioning of the
Quality Control Division.
Deputy Director Planning Yash Pal
Sharma and other officials of the department were also present in this meeting.
During the
meeting, various activities of the Quality Control Division were discussed
threadbare.
Director stressed on the employees to
work with dedication and responsibility for the benefit of the poor artisans of
the State.
In view of the ensuing tourist
season, she stressed upon all the field inspection teams to gear up their
inspection activities and ensure that only genuine handicraft items are being
sold to the tourists visiting the state.
The
officials assured the Director of cooperation in achieving the desired goals of
the department.
