JAMMU, MAY 20: Secretary Tourism and Floriculture, Farooq A Shah, Saturday convened a meeting of Tourism and Development authorities of Bhaderwah, Patnitop and Rajouri to review the status of ongoing works in the areas under the sectors.
          The Secretary also reviewed the progress of work on the Tawi Golf Course and the Tourist Reception Centre at Dera Baba Bandha in Reasi besides renovation of Bhimgarh Fort in Reasi.
Emphasizing the significance of Jammu division for tourism in the State, the Secretary instructed the official to ensure all its regions are kept clean without fail. He also called on the officers to provide all sorts of facilitation services to tourists visiting Jammu, Bhaderwah, Rajouri, Patnitop and other places in the region.
Speaking on the occasion, the Secretary reiterated the governments commitment to the late Muftis vision of making the State amongst the best tourism destination in the world.

During the meeting, the Principal of the Food Craft Institute, Jammu, who was also present in the meeting, was asked to start fresh skill development courses in different trades for grooming the youth in job-oriented fields.
