GANDERBAL, MAY 20: Administrative Judge of
District Ganderbal Justice, R Sudhakar, today visited the District Court
complex Ganderbal and took stock of the construction work of new court complex.
Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, S.S.P Ganderbal and Executive Engineer
PWD were also present during his visit.
Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal was directed to take the matter of
acquisition of the land identified for the construction of the new Court
Complex Ganderbal with the concerned authorities immediately and hand over the
possession of the land to the Principal District Judge Ganderbal so that the
process for construction of the new court complex Ganderbal is undertaken at an
earliest.
Justice R. Sudhakar took serious note of the deteriorated condition of
the Ganderbal road and directed the Executive Engineer, PWD Ganderbal to ensure
that the macadamization of the road leading to court complex Ganderbal is
completed within shortest possible of time.
He also heard grievances of the Advocates regarding their chambers and
directed the concerned Executive Engineer to start the work on the already
proposed construction of the lawyer’s chambers. He also instructed the
Executive Engineer to immediately start the construction of a
toilet-cum-bathroom for the lady advocates in the District Court Complex. The
Executive Engineer assured him that the construction will be started soon.
During the interaction with the young lawyers, Justice Sudhakar desired
that senior lawyers from the Bar will hold training sessions for these young
lawyers to enlighten and guide them regarding the different aspects of the
legal practices before the courts which, he said, shall commence on Sunday.
It was informed that Justice R. Sudhakar will inaugurate the training
class at district court complex Ganderbal tomorrow at 10 A.M.
