ANANTNAG, MAY 09: According
to the Deputy Excise Commissioner, the Excise team headed by Excise and
Taxation Officer, Anantnag-Pulwama-Shopian-Kulgam Excise range has destroyed 15
kanals of poppy in village Waghama, Marhama and Opzen of Tehsil Bijbehara of
district Anantnag.
The
Excise team was accompanied by police personnel of concerned police station and
revenue officials.
The
Deputy Excise Commissioner further said that the drive will continue till
entire poppy is destroyed in Kashmir valley.
