SRINAGAR, MAY 23: According to
District & Sessions Judge, a Lok Adalat was held today in which 210 cases
were taken up for hearing. A total of 125 cases comprising 330 claims were
mutually settled during the said Adalat.
The Lok Adalat was held at High Court Complex here which was presided
over by District & Sessions Judge & President District Consumer
Protection Forum Justice Jeema Bashir.
In the Lok Adalat, a compensation of Rs 2.85 crore was also awarded in
favor of the complainants.
