VC University of Kashmir meets Governor

SRINAGAR, MAY 10: Dr. Khurshid Iqbal Andrabi, Vice Chancellor, University of Kashmir called on Governor N.N. Vohra, Chancellor of the University, at the Raj Bhavan here today.

Dr. Andrabi informed the Governor about the functioning of the University and also briefed him about the supplementary shifts for post graduate programmes which are underway.

The Governor drew the VC’s attention to his role and responsibility of taking all required initiatives to ensure against the career interests of the over 70,000 strong community of college students being adversely effected in any manner. The Governor also reiterated the importance of the teachers and students maintaining a sharp and sustained focus on teaching, research and academic activities, and dispelling all factors and influences which thwart their scholastic objectives.
