JAMMU MAY 31: Department of Agriculture today accorded warm farewell to Director Agriculture   A. K. Malhotra, who retired from government service after rendering  more than 36 years of dedicated services  in the Department .
Mr. Malhotra served the department as  Assistant Entomologist, Chief Agriculture Officer, Joint Director of Agriculture, Jammu/Kashmir, Mission Director PMKSY (J & K) 
The officers and staff also bid farewell to  Surinder Misri, Subject Matter Specialist (RL), Jammu and Ram Dass, Field Assistant .
          Bulesh Zutshi, Joint Director Agriculture (SLUB),  H. K. Razdan, Joint Director  Agriculture Extension and Kulbhushan Singh Sambyal, Joint Director Agriculture (Inputs), and other officers were present on the occassion.
Warm wishes for a happy and prosperous life were also extended to other retiring officers and officials of the department including   Lakhami Chand Bhagat, Saffron Development Officer, Kishtwar, Anil Pandoh, Research Assistant, Quality Control Laboratory, Jammu, Sagar Chand Sharma, AEO, Kirpind, Jammu,  Harmohinder Singh, AEO, Bomal, Akhnoor,  Jagjeet Singh, Apiculture Development Assistant, Doda,  D. K. Verma, Farm Manager, Potato Farm Sanasar, Abdul Karim Shiekh, JAEO, Poonch, Rakesh Sharma, Section Officer, Joint Directorate of Agriculture Extension, Jammu,  Mohinder Singh Field Assistant, Poonch and Onkar Singh, Beekeeper, Udhampur.
