SRINAGAR, JUNE 12: In order to ensure that the members of the
Legislature and media fraternity are updated on daily basis about the Business
to be conducted in the State Legislature, the State Assembly in collaboration
with the IT Branch of J&K Legislative Assembly will be providing the
requisite information through SMSs as well as Email. The new version of Smart
Mobile Application for Assembly Secretariat would be launched soon.
The step would go a long way in ensuring the smooth functioning of the
upcoming Special Session. It is pertinent to mention that the Assembly
Secretariat would be providing all the requisite information on their website
i.e. www.jklegislative.nic.in.
Speaker, Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta, has hailed the Assembly
Secretariat and the IT wing for the initiative.
Meanwhile, Secretary Assembly M.R. Singh issued instructions for
complete transparency and accountability in the functioning of the Assembly
Secretariat.
