JUNE 24: The District Development Commissioner Shopian
Mohammad Aijaz today convened a meeting of officers to review the
implementation of schemes being executed under Health, Urban Development and
R&B sectors.
Chief Planning Officer, Executive Officer Municipal Committee, Chief Medical
Officer, officers of ISM and R & B department attended the meeting.
Stressing
upon concerned officers to execute the ongoing works within stipulated time,
the DDC directed for strictly adhering on the specifications and use of quality
material for creation of durable assets of public utility. All the departments
were asked to work in close coordination for the development of the
district.
DCC
exhorted upon the officers of R&B to take up works which are unique in
nature in due consultation with the public and also stressed for taking a
maximum number of works under convergence mode with various line departments.
The DDC directed the concerned
officer to expedite the work in order to ensure that funds do not lapse.
