JAMMU, JUNE 02: Director Floriculture, Babila Rakwal conducted an extensive inspection of various Parks in Akhnoor & its adjoining areas and took stock of facilities for the visitors and ongoing developmental works.
Executive Engineer Floriculture, Arvind Gupta, Floriculture Officer Jammu S.K. Sultan and other officers accompanied the Director during the visit.
Director asked the engineering wing of the Department to come up with a proposal to develop Palwan Park as Model Floriculture Park & to upgrade the existing building of Bruta Mandi Park for its utilization as Training cum Awareness Centre.
During the visit of Nud Park, Sohal Tanda Park & Palwan Park , she also directed to complete all the ongoing works so that these parks can be thrown open for the general public. The Director also issued instructions to Floriculture Officer Jammu for mass plantation in different parks in the coming monsoon season.
