SRINAGAR,
JUNE 08: The Deputy Chief Minister, Dr.
Nirmal Singh, today extended greetings to the people on the eve birth
anniversary of Kabir Jayanti.
The
Deputy Chief Minister said that Sant Kabirdas besides being an exponent of
social reform was also great poet, saint. He said that he was an apostle of
peace and harmony and his teachings are more relevant in the present context.
He
also expressed hope that this auspicious occasion would be the harbinger of
peace, progress, and prosperity in the State.
