SRINAGAR, JUNE 17: The Deputy Chief Minister,
Dr. Nirmal Singh, today paid glowing tributes to the former Governor Girish
Chandra Saxena and the legislators who passed away recently.
While paying tributes to the former Governor Girish Chandra Saxena, the
Deputy Chief Minister said that he took over at a critical time when the State
was facing tremendous challenges and he played a crucial role in getting it out
of chaotic conditions.
He said that his role in restoring normalcy in the state is historical
and needs to be appreciated by everybody.
The Deputy Chief Minister also paid rich tributes to Ex Speaker Ali
Mohammad Naik, Ex Minister, Sardar Rangil Singh, Ex MP Syed Nizam-ud-din, Ex
MLA Rishi Kumar Koushal and Ex MLA Shanti Devi.
