Inter-school seminar held at SP School

          SRINAGAR, JUNE 21: An inter-school- Seminar was held today at SP Higher Secondary School Srinagar.

At least 26 students from different Government and Private Schools participated in the event.

          Joint Director School Education Kashmir Mehboob Hussain and Abid Husain were Chief Guest and Guest of Honour on the occasion respectively.

Joint Director School Education Kashmir said that it is the need of the hour to focus on moral education. He also said it is our collective responsibility to focus on moral values to give right direction to our new generation.

         Speaking on the occasion, Abid Husasain stressed upon the teachers that they should focus on moral values while educating students. He congratulated the school management for organizing such event especially in the month of Ramadhan.     

         On this occasion Principal, SPHSS Srinagar said that Prophet Mohammad is our role model in following moral values. He also said that without moral education we cannot bring the change in the behavior of the students.

          The first position was bagged by Sabarat Ali of GHSS Amirakadal, second by Reyaz Ahmad Bhat of HSS Nawpora and the 3^rd position went to Syed Aqa Hadi of the Green Vally School Srinagar. The position holders were given cash prizes and participation certificates by the Chief Guest.
