SRINAGAR,
JUNE 8: The Secretary Tourism Farooq Ahmad
Shah today held a meeting through video conferencing to review the status of
different tourism development projects under various centrally sponsored
schemes
The meeting was attended by MD JKTDC Sarmad Hafeez, Director Tourism Kashmir Mehmood A
shah, JD Planning, Additional Secretary Tourism and all CEOs of Jammu and
Kashmir region
The secretary stressed for the submission of
Utilization Certificates for further release of funding from GoI . He also
stressed for the speedy completion of the works
under execution.
Officials were directed to furnish details of the
various projects with regard to physical and financial achievements at
execution level and also instructed the officers to maintain the assets with
quality maintenance equipments.
During the meeting Pahalgam and Sonamarg
Development Authorities were directed to gear up for the upcoming Yatra and
ensure facilitation for pilgrims.
