DODA, JUNE 06: Forest Division Doda in collaboration with 76th battalion CRPF celebrated World Environment Day on the theme "Connecting people with Nature” here today.
During the programme, hundreds of saplings were planted on Forest and institutional land by the staff of Doda Forest Division, school students and the Jawans of 76th Battalion, CRPF Doda.
An awareness programme was also organized by under the guidance of Conservator of Forest Chenab Circle Doda Tejbahadur Singh and an appeal was made to public to save the environment by planting more and more plants.
The programme was attended by Assistant Conservator of Forests, Range Officer, Assistant Commandant CRPF besides Inspectors, Sub inspectors, Jawans, school teachers and students.
