Mumbai, Jul 15 :  NDA presidential nominee Ram Nath Kovind arrived in Mumbai today to address a meeting of legislators and MPs here. He was welcomed by Chief Minister Devendra Fadanvis, Maharashtra BJP president Raosaheb Danve and others. From airport, he drove to the Garware Club house, where he would have lunch with legislators. After meeting with Independent legislators, he would leave the city for another destination. Mr Kovind will not meet Shiv Sena party president Uddhav Thackeray, who has got 18 MPs and 63 MLAs. Significantly, Pranab Mukherjee and Pratibha Patil, as presidential candidates of the UPA, had visited the then Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray at his residence ‘Matoshree’ in suburban Bandra. This is first time that Sena is supporting NDA candidate but its candidate is not meeting Mr Uddhav Thackeray.
