National Lok Adalat held at Jammu

JAMMU, JULY 08: On the direction of Chairman National Legal Service Authority and under the supervision of Chief Justice Badar Durrez Ahmed and Chairman State Legal Service Authority, Justice Mohammad Yaqoob Mir, a National Lok Adalat was today held under the chairmanship of Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Mohammad Akram Chowdhary in the district court complex, Janipur Jammu.

 Eight benches were constituted and  2751 cases  were taken up , out of which 2350 have been decided, and recovery of Rs. 5,66,58,839 in 30 cases out of 43 have been effected in bank cases Rs. 8,40,000 electricity bill were compounded and fine of Rs. 2,11,320 have been imposed in petty criminal cases.
