JAMMU, JULY 13- Speaker Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Kavinder
Gupta, today laid foundation stone for construction of lanes and drains in
Arjun Vihar Kunjwani to be completed at an estimated cost of Rs. 8.80 lakh.
The Speaker interacted with people of the area and took stock of their
grievances especially related to adequate water and power supply.
Kavinder Gupta assured the people that the government would leave no
stone unturned in extending enhanced basic services to every part of the state
with focus on unattended areas. He appealed the people to ensure their
participation in the development works being executed in their areas for
optimum outcome.
The people of the area expressed gratitude to the Speaker for taking
keen interest in welfare and development of their areas.
Later, the Speaker inspected the ongoing works of Bridge connecting
Bandhu Rakh with Bishnah being constructed at an estimated cost of RS. 12
crore.
Officers
from concerned departments were present on the occasion.
