JAMMU,
JULY 25: Speaker Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta today
visited Vaishnavi Dham and enquired about the facilities available for the
Amarnathji yatris.
The
Speaker interacted with the yatris putting up there and applauded Shrine Board
for providing clean and well maintained accommodation for the pilgrims.
The
pilgrims, who had returned after paying obeisance at the holy shrine
of Shri Amarnathji, shared their experiences and expressed satisfaction over
the arrangements made by the authorities for their comfortable stay and
hospitality.
The Speaker also inspected the
medical care facilities and valued the efficient work of the medicinal team led
by team Dr. Vinod Sharma for providing vital health services for the yatris. He assessed the
availability of medicines and directed the concerned to ensure adequate
stocking of the same.
He also
inspected the Registration counters set up for the Yatris and directed for
providing proper assistance to them.
The
Speaker also appreciated the district administration for providing all the
requisite amenities for the visiting pilgrims along the pilgrimage route.
Kavinder
appreciated the concerned officers of various departments assigned with the
Yatra duty for effectively monitoring the arrangements and asked them to keep
up the efficient work.
He
commended the enthusiasm of Yatris and said that the strong belief of people in
the shrine will outnumber the figures next year.
The
Speaker said that every year, a large number of pilgrims come from all over the
world to pay obeisance at the holy cave and state government is committed to
provide them all facilities.

Pargal, Assistant Director, Handicrafts, Pawan Kotwal, BDO Satwari, Arun
Khajuria and concerned officers of various departments were present on the
occasion.
